SDE Analysis

Items in SDE analysis are classified according to their availability as follows:
S denotes scarce (mostly imported, short supply)
D denotes Difficult to procure (Procurement from distant location)
E denotes Easy to procure (Mostly from local market)
This type of classification is required when a large number of items and raw materials need to be imported
or procured following rigorous procedure with high lead time.
