GROUND CO-ORDINATES
- These co-ordinates are measured with respect to x-axis and y-axis. The origin of these axes is at the datum principal point P with lies on datum plane exactly beneath the exposure station.
- Let the photo co-ordinates measured w.r.t x-axis and y-axis on the photograph are xa and ya and its ground co-ordinates are XA and YA respectively.
- Let H be the flying height and elevation of point A is ‘h’ above the datum.
- The ground co-ordinates and photo co-ordinates of point O can be related as below:
