Phasor Diagram
PHASOR DIAGRAMS
The phasor diagram is referred to a sketch in the complex plane showing the relationship of the phasor voltages and phasor currents throughout a circuit. It also provides a graphical method for solving certain problems which may be used to check more exact analytical methods.
R-L series circuit
V=VR + VL
⇒ IZ=IR + IXL∠90°
∴ Z=R + jXL
